Hairy Tarantula was my go-to store when I rediscovered comics a few years ago (for the 3rd time). Initially, I became a regular because it was steps from my workplace; but I still love it now because of the people who work there. There's the warlock-ish owner who shoots you with a glare that could activate oncogenes every time your cell phone goes off inside the store; there's another staff member who used to sport cut off t-shirts that showed off his belly button. Awesome. It's got a mediocre comics selection at best, but it's pretty good at stocking quirky indie publications.
