Our friends John and Rishma are South Asian plus they are serious foodies and this is their Indian restaurant of choice. When John cooks Indian food at home he makes his own yoghurt and paneer cheese, so if he says a place is good he's not kidding around. Their New Year's Eve ritual is to invite a bunch of families over and get vats of take out butter chicken from Nataraj. We are angling for an invitation.

, oh, the flavours they create in their secret flavour-lab rival the best in the business. The naan is fantastic, the aloo gobi, the mattar paneer... Someday I will fuse with their cashew sauce and become pure light.

You know a place is good when you crave it at 8am on a tuesday. Their Butter chicken Rivals the butter chicken at Bombay Bhel in thornhill - I'll put money on it!!!
