Delicious. And also, great knowledgeable service, intimate ambiance and moderately priced. Amazing charcuterie plate with a few samplings from black hoof. yum. Will definitely return for a special occasion.

Great Place for Intimate Dining

Went here with my boyfriend for my birthday and it was a great experience from start to finish. The sever was knowledgeable and unpretencious about selecting a wine (all I know is I like red) and recommended some great cheeses to finish the meal off with. The roasted chicken with butternut squash risotto was absolutely delicious. Tender, flavourful and satisfying. The meal was reasonably price for the quality (everything is local and mostly organic.) Looks like they have a pretty badass patio in the summer as well.

Ceasar salad

NSC doesn't have this salad any more, but I'm hoping this entry might sway them to put it back on the menu. Imagine it: a gem romaine whose leaves are stuffed with anchovies and parmesan cheese, grilled, then topped with a garlicky dressing and a poached egg. It's pure ceasar heaven!!!

It's 'Fred's Bread' Potato Foccaccia and they usually serve it with a homemade salsa. It's been a little while since I've been there, but I think they still do it up like that. mmmm!
