I am a fan of big breakfasts and Over Easy never disappoints with their tasty and hearty dishes. I usually order the French toast ( with their caramel banana sauce!), and great side orders include the farmer sausages, home fries and baked beans. It's perfect Saturday morning comfort food in a country style restaurant. Wash it all down with a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. There’s a second location on Yonge St. in The Hotel Victoria, although the Bloor St. location is open an hour later.

Their extensive menu makes it difficult to choose from but rest assured every dish is delicious. Bloody Mary's are only $5 too. My favourite dish is the Eggs Bruschetta. Yum Yum!

I know; how original. At least I didn't say Fran's. The only time I could be bothered to go out for breakfast is if Im doing something afterwards, so this place is a close walk to the ROM and cute shops along Bloor (Piya's Boutique!). I hate eggs and breakfast food in general, but the place is so chipper and homey. Good home fries and BLTs (without the bacon for me and a slice of cheddar instead). Really good caesars and mimosas.

It's just a big frickin' mess of breakfasty gooey deliciousness. Uncomplicated to eat. And you get a whole pot of coffee per person.
