Cheap Eats
Rated this place:
Pho roughly translates as 'cheap soup'. And that's just what you get at Pho Hung. Soup at a bargain. But you've got nothing to loose if you're strapped for cash and in need of a good feedbag. Most of the menu is pretty standard: lemon grass- or coriander-scented broths slammed with meat, noodles and veggies, plus a wide range of noodle- and rice-based dishes of chicken, beef, pork and seafood. Beware: the beef balls - weird balls of pink processed meat that taste like some kind of garbage-hotdogs. Really, beware. This item is for the dogs. For some reason I thought they'd be more like Italian meatballs. But I was terribly out of my mind for thinking that. This is China Town, not Little Italy.
