The grilled calamari is done to perfection here, and is a great appetizer to accompany a solid Italian meal. Although there are other pizzas and pastas I prefer in the city, nobody's calami comes close!

Classic Italian Food

I have been going to Banfi since I was a little kid and it still remains my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. The food is excellent and there is a lot of variety. Their homemade Cesar salad dressing is awesome and they have a great selection of pastas and pizzas so you can always mix it up. The waiters are very friendly and the restaurant has a cozy neighborhood feel. It can get pretty busy around 7 or 8 on a Friday or Saturday night but the wait is definitely worth it.

Banfi serves up great pizza and pasta as well as an amazing beef carpaccio. Nothing beats their homemade tomato sauce, which is simply delicious. The staff is also super friendly.

This place is everything an intimate neighbourhood restaurant should be. Excellent, friendly service, great menu and quality ingredients.

This restaurant is always packed, and for good reason...the pastas are super big and the thin crust pizzas are amazing. Their grilled calamari appetizer is my favourite thing on the menu - tons of garlic!
