Cafe diplomatico (since 1968)

Rated this place:

Cafe Diplomatico

Cafe Diplomatico is an amazing traditional Italian Restuarant, rumoured to have the oldest patio in Toronto. Try the 'Uncle Paul's" antipasto before diving into one of the delicious pasta selections, or, the best chicken parmigiana in the city. Get there early, it's usually jam-packed.

Antipasto

Rated this place:

For a substantial snack or shareworthy mini meal, you can't beat the antipasto diplomatico. A generous platter of olives, pickled eggplant, sundried tomatoes and marinated mushrooms plus cheese and calabrese bread of this size could scarce be bought at the grocery store for the 8.45 it costs to have it delivered to your umbrella table on one of the most well-appointed patios in Little Italy.
