Great place to come with a date. Its not as impersonal as a movie, the entertainment is amazing, and you sound cool cause you thought of something different.

Free improv every night after the show

Who says there's no good free entertainment in this city? Make your way out to Second City at about 10pm and you can catch a free live improv performance by some of the best-trained comedians in the city. Improv is always a bit of a mixed bag -- can't guarantee gut-busting humour every sketch -- but it's free, and often funny just because of the panicked energy of the performers.

The Second City That Never Sleeps... HILARIOUS improv 24-hours... STRAIGHT... featured guests from previous years are George Strombolopoulos, Colin Mochrie, Mayor David Miller, and many more... all for great cause in the Therapeutic Clown Program run out of the Hospital for SickKids... a cause that's very close to my heart.

Best place to bust a gut laughing while enjoying the company of friends at a reasonable price. The spontaneity of improv and their rehearsed scenes is not to missed! Great place for a date too ;)

Second City is fabulously witty. They are tuned into all the current trends and usually I find myself laughing so hard my stomach hurts.

The dedication of the cast after 24 hours of improv is remarkable. They get so commited to the cause and so excited to be there! They also get a little loopy in the wee hours of the morning. It is a lot of fun to watch.
