There's nothing like nibbling on an authentic croque madame by a warm fireplace to transport you back to that perfect Parisian holiday. Don't do completely like the French: tone down the snootiness & just embrace the manufactured fabulousness. You don't just have to take my word--last time I was there, I witnessed Anna Olson of 'Sugar' fame sitting across from my table with her chef hubby Michael, quietly enjoying a meal, which quickly inspired their compliments to the chef.

Besides the fact that this restaurant blows in terms of food, service and ambiance, their management uses their website to distribute propaganda, lies, misinformation and racial hatred.

I was pleasantly surprised by the new location of Le Select Bistro. The atmosphere is charming with nice booths in the back and a great parisian atmosphere. The steak frites was good yet the steak was a bit fatty. The service was excellent.

Of their $1MM decor, great service (perfectly French), and the best steak frites in town

They have a very extensive menu of gorgeous French (obviously) wines (Cotes Du Rhones yum!)

The steak is cooked to perfection - and the staff don't scoff at you when you ask for ketchup - which by the way is a must for steak frites.. in case you were wondering.

Its greasy, its salty and its crispy. all that and you get to sit in a styley restaurant where the waiters usually understand you if you accidentally speak french.

Mussels

Atlantic mussels are served in a heavenly combo of quebec ale and bacon sauce that begs to be soaked up by Le Select's fresh-out-of-the-oven bread. I especially love the unpretentious bistro/saloon atmosphere where kinda-fancy meets very-authentic.
