Great First Time Experience!

I let my hair grow for 3 years until I decided to cut it today at W Lifestyle with Nina. It was my first time there. I called and left a message and they called me back the next day with an appointment time. We settled for today at 3pm, but they ended up falling behind schedule cause of someone, so they called me and asked me to come for 3:30. I was glad that they called instead of me going there realizing that I had gone too early. Nina was very nice and was an easy talker. I don't consider myself particularly talkative with everybody, but I felt comfortable around her and didn't feel the pressure to keep the conversation going while she cut my hair. We did, however, talk about food, restaurants, movies, and whatever that flowed naturally. I felt that she wasn't judgemental, and that I was able to be honest with her about what I want and what my lifestyle is like, so that she could tell me what hair would suit me. She went through the process by explaining here and there about what she was doing. It was my first experience at an actual hair salon as I have just been to small barbershops in the past. This time, it took the longest (about 2 hours), and I felt that Nina really took her time with everything and did not rush me. Today is Christmas Eve, so they were supposed to close at 5:00pm, and because they were already running late from an earlier appointment, they had to close even later because of me. Even when I asked Nina to cut my bangs a little shorter, she did it without hesitation and still took her time to make sure the strands were the right length, etc. She told me that bang trims are free so I can always come back. I ended up making them close around 6pm, so an hour over time. It was a great experience as I was able to ask Nina about hair tips and she seemed quite knowledgeable and confident about what she was saying. I would definitely go back! I hope you would have as good of an experience as I did.
