Oh my god... I love this place. I went here at lunch time with my friend while we were students at George Brown's summer baking class. After hours of labour-intensive baking with no break, it was relieving to just sit and enjoy the delicious food here. We had tea, there were many unique different tea flavours. And we both had the crab melt. It was so amazingly good... I think I also had the corned beef hash the second time, but oh my god. I will always remember that crab melt.

'the relaxed, casual atmosphere at Toba makes it an ideal setting for a first or fiftieth date, or a brunch rendez-vous with busy friends.' this quaint dining space has so much personality between the pin up art on the walls and the explosive flavours found in these unique takes on classic recipes. the wine list is decent, with a variety of wines sold by the class or bottle at a fair price. definitely a place to stop when in the king east furniture and theatre district.

The blusberry waffles are to die for!!! And they have a great hangover breakfast too. Small place with lots of atmosphere. They don't take reservations, so show up a little earlier than normal to avoid the line ups.
