Urban Oasis

Rated this place:

Every so often I stop by Urban Outfitters when I’m looking for some unique edgy piece. The massive store holds loads of great merchandise under one roof where you can find everything from shoes and graphic t’s to ashtrays and wall art. With so much to choose from, you are sure to walk out the door with a purchase. I personally love their selection of cheap and cheerful accessories like jewelry and hair accessories; they are always on trend and current. The clothing is a mixed bag of interesting patterns, styles, and designs. Sizing usually starts at a 0 and goes up to about a 12 (xs-l). The sales staff is typically situated by the fitting rooms and at the cash, but are usually eager to help a shopper with whatever they need. The price range is relatively moderate and there are usually some great finds in the clearance section. For those with a sensitive ear, this store might be a little over the top as there is typically alternative music playing as loud as a rock concert. But if you can brave it, Urban Outfitters makes for a great store to get a little retail therapy.

Ok, I know a lot of teenagers shop here, but that's not to say that this store is only for teenyboppers. I love this store, and I know a lot of stylists do too, for its fun and fashionable retro/vintage clothing (for women and men). A lot of the pieces in this store aren't far off from what you see on fashion runways because Urban makes sure to change it up to match current style trends. I especially like the casual dresses and fedora hats.
