Fantastic patio with a friendly, laidback atmosphere that always fills up fast. The food is always fantastic and they offer some great microbrews.

This Annex hotspot, built into an old house on a beautiful street, is awesome. They have a bunch of decent brews on tap, good food, average prices, two floors, live entertainment (poetry readings, theatre events, live music, other), a huge patio (which fills up fast most beautiful summer nights) and good service. A good place for intimate one-on-ones and group gatherings.

The Victory was supporting the arts scene in Toronto long before the Drake came along, with regular jazz performances, poetry readings and a special attention to theatre. Plus: A huge patio, upscale pub grub, etc.

An awesome joint that's always jumpin'. great for relaxing any evening. one monday a month there's a interesting bookclub that meets up there to discuss everything from kazuo ishiguro to neil gaiman and beyond.

Food is very tasty and well priced, pubish fare but a bit out of the ordinary. Decent craft beer selection, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Sunday brunch, once upon a time

2 eggs, bacon (or the occasional fruit salad), homefries and beans don't get better. They just don't. Sunday, circa noon, is my time though....called it. Unfortunately, Victory does not serve brunch any longer (who knows why?!?!?!?!?!).

Amazing patio outlooking gorgeous Markham St with relaxed atmosphere... Micro brewery beers, so just ask the server what you're in the mood for! (Great Orange Peel Beer.) Good place to chill with friends on a warm summer day or night...
