I love Paul. He’s part owner, has been there for years and isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

They have the best weekly residencies and generally have great shows in the back room. It's a really intimate place to play and bartender/owner Paul is awesome!

Not only is The Cameron one of the city’s most historic arts and music spaces, it religiously features amazing resident acts every night of the week so you are guaranteed a good show.

The patio at this Queen Street West institution sits directly on the busy street sidewalk where thousands pass by every day. With a single elevated wooden counter and few stools, it’s on the small side, but if you’re into checking out crowds it’s hard to find a better spot. The colorful mural that covers the bar’s brick exterior aptly represents the artsy crowd that likes to hang out there...

This "long-standing bastion of art and culture at Queen Street West" has some talented indie bands playing almost every evening; genres range from classic jazz to old-time country, from swing to celtic mariachi. The art-music-theatre-bar's unique and independent soul is evident through beautiful murals both on the walls and the ceiling. I hear October's got a decent line up of new bands. I'm definitely going back.
