I loved their acoustics, and colorful backdrops/props. It is important to have comfy seats for long plays, and this one does. Very well decorated foyer and easily accesible venue. But the sound system is what makes it for me at theatre productions.

Modern theatre. very cool. Great production value, lots of discounts.. 09/10 season even has Frankenstein in it.

The sets and production values at Canadian Stage can make for pricier theatre -- the key word being 'can'. At Pay What You Can Mondays, you can tickets for as little as $5 (although the suggested donation is $15). If you're under 25, a one-time fee of $15 gets you $5 tickets for the whole season. If neither of those work for you, they offer $20 seats every night (though they may not be ideal). No excuses not to experience some of the best theatre the city has to offer.
