Great Wedding Venue and Love the Wines

Rated this place:

The view from Canoe at night is incredible. I photographed a small and intimate wedding there in the fall and with small tea lights and the view of the city it was very romantic and a perfect setting. The wine selections were excellent and the food was terrific. I would highly recommend Canoe as a wedding venue and am sure I will be there again soon. If not to photograph a wedding than to take my wife to dinner and test a few bottles of red.

The menu boasts a downright cheeky culinary approach to Canadian regional cuisine with dishes like roast hind of Yukon caribou with a zucchini and sweet cord bread cobbler in a partridge berry jus...

It was really really good. Interesting and very nice mix of flavours, with impeccable presentation. Expect to pay for quality though!

The food is incredible, the service is equally incredible and the view is spectacular. If you haven't been then you must go! Kinda pricy, but worth it.
