Since 1937 Tony Shoes has sought to provide convenience and quality footcare services to its clients. What began as a shoe repair shop now provides measuring, fitting and professional advice by “shoe consultants”, and features brands such as Geox, Juicy, Diesel, Franco Sarto, Manitobah mukluks, UGG, Crocs, BCBG Girls, Blundstone, Cole Haan, Clarks, and quality winter boots by Canadian brands Pajar, La Canadienne, and Sorel among others.
Open Monday-Saturday at 7am, the store offers shoe repair and local free delivery.
Tony’s built up its reputation by being one of the few shoe shops that opened before 8:00am, so harried mothers could zip down to Greene Avenue before school started to replace misplaced shoes for their children.
Tony Shoes is dedicated to giving back to the community, and participates in Bursary Fund Program, in which 5% of the value of each pair shoes purchased by a student at a participating school is donated back to the school to provide financial assistance for children’s education at schools such as Centennial Academy, Lower Canada College, Sacred Heart School of Montreal, and the Study.
A real family business, Tony Shoes has been passed down to the grandchildren, including Robbie Fargnoli, who can be found in-store as the Board-Certified Pedorthist (C.Peds).
