Lawrence East Market Place

Rated this place:

2655 Lawrence Ave East, Toronto, ON, M1P2S2

Lawrence East Market Place

Lawrence East Market Place: It's the newest flea market / antique market / farmer's market in Scarborough. I went there the other day and they had everything from extremely new and inexpensive dvd's to quality antique furniture, all kinds of new and used office chairs for $25 and my favourite sex shop BestVibes is now there too!

Lick's Homeburgers & Ice Cream

Rated this place:

3315 Fairview, Burlington, ON, L7N3N9

Nature burger

Nature burger: Nature Burgers are the best vegetarian burgers I have tasted thus far... for a what I would consider fast food restaurant. Though Fresh - by Juice For Life has arguably the best veggie burgers in Toronto... but I don't consider that fast food per se. Maybe if they open a few more and make me feel less comfortable there!!!

Occult Shop

Rated this place:

109 Vaughan Rd, York, ON, M6C2L9

Occult store

Occult store: Well when I was younger I used to go to wiccashoppe on Queen St. E. in the beaches but they appear to have shut down so now I occassionally appear at this quaint store which is located at 109 Vaughan Rd. in the west end... they have a knowledgable staff and a great selection of fragrances and candles and incense (among other things) to improve your mojo!

Centre Island

Rated this place:

Toronto Islands, Toronto, ON, M5J1A1

Walking or biking spot

Walking or biking spot: Well the whole place is like a huge walking bike path.. so you have to think about these things... where else better to walk and bike but near large bodies of water... it sure beats pounding the pavement downtown... and it' usually a few degrees cooler than the city... the breeze off Lake Ontario helps beat the summer heat...

Wasaga Beach Provincial Park

Rated this place:

11-22nd Street North, Wasaga Beach, ON, L9Z 2V9

Swimming beach - outside toronto

Swimming beach - outside toronto: It's probably one of the closest place you can actually swim in and not get ill... or frozen.. lake ontario is freezing...and lets face it... the toronto part for swimming is a bit gross It's beautiful and crowded. Just the way a beach should be in the summer.

Scarborough Town Centre

Rated this place:

300 Borough Dr #26, Scarborough, ON, M1P4P5

Shopping centres

Shopping centres: I like the Scarborough Town Centre because they have all the big stores that i love but with less people shopping in it than the other major malls in Toronto... Bonus: At the end of the shopping day there is a less crowded famous players coliseum theatre and then you can step outside to a Milestones, Jack Astors, or one of my favorites for ambiance... Tucker's Marketplace Restaurants

Rated this place:

5975 Mavis, Mississauga, ON, L5R3T7

Brunch buffet

Brunch buffet: It's a shame there aren't any downtown yet... there is one at Warden and Eglinton and ones in Mississauga and Etobicoke. Being vegetarian I wouldn't eat there too often for dinner but they are great for lunches/brunches...lot's of soup and salad and some pasta and fairly reasonable prices... $8.99 for all you can eat lunch... well compared to other all you can eat places. Being an all you can eat place I find the service is like most is hit or miss... and the vibe in the restaurant is relaxed.
