Hong Luck Kung Fu Club

Hong luck kung fu club, Lion dance, San shou: I spent many years training under Master Paul Chan and his senior instructors. A great place to learn Choy Lay Fut, lion dancing and dragon dancing!

One of Canada's greatest Lion Dancing and Kung Fu clubs. A Hong Luck lion dance routine can be about 15 minutes, a great workout if you ask me...Be sure to drop by Chinatown to watch their parades and performances every Canada Day, Lunar New Year or Mid Autumn Festival. Lion dancing to drums and fire crackers is awesome.

This is the national sport of China. Learn from some of Canada's most reputable instructors on ways to strike, grapple and take your opponent to the ground.

Korean dvds, Kung fu movies, Wong kar wai films: Some of the greatest Korean movies can be found at Chinatown Centre. I picked up dvds like Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Old Boy and My Sassy Girl. Still quite a few more at Chinatown Centre for me to go through.

Find all your Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Donnie Yen movies here. I usually buy 7 dvds for 20 bucks. Did the prices drop again???

Wong Kar Wai films deserve a fave of it's own. Tarentino praises WKW films for its beautiful visuals, moving music and maddeningly elliptical plots. Forget renting WKW films at Blockbuster where bad voice dubbing totally destroys them. Take your 20 bucks to Chinatown Centre and pick up 7 or so WKW films!
