Lounge: This place is slick and definitely worth visiting. I find the atmosphere funky and the food is top notch. If you like a tapa's type menu, you will be pleased. Nice job on the website too.....cheers. ;o)

Cafe: This tiny spot has been on Queen Street for eons and has earned all it's stripes. Great place for a cozy meal and the food is delicious. The menu is quite diverse and would please any patron.

Beef nachos: I love beef nachos and there is no better place than the Foggy Dew to get them AND they come with delicious guacamole too! The Foggy Dew is also a great spot to watch any sporting event, the pub tends to attract a real lively bunch.

Patio: This place boasts one of the biggest backyard patio's in Toronto and oddly enough it is located in Parkdale. Lots of interesting characters and fabulous no-name bands. A true rock and roll type of place. :o)

Hope volleyball tournament

Hope volleyball tournament: For the past 18 years the Hope foundation hosts a coed volleyball tournament every June at Toronto's Centre Island. All proceeds go to local charties. I have played a few times in this tournament and I have never seen so many VB players.Typically 400 teams a year enter the tournament. It is well organzied and fully equiped with a beer tent, BBQ's, DJ.....need I say more?

The Sultan's Tent & Cafe Moroc

Moroccan cuisine: I adore this place and it is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. The Sultans Tent is a unique dining experience. The food, decor and belly dancers will lure you to return again and again. Great place for a group function.

Sushi: What a fabulous Japanese garden restaurant, and the decor is VERY Feng Shui. I feel so relaxed in this place, that often I will go solo and soak up the garden and yummy sushi.

Best seamstress: Best seamstress in the city is Kim. She is a lovely woman who is so talented at her trade. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my wardrobe. :o)

Golf store: Golf Town is the best golf retail store I have come across to buy anything and everything to do with this great sport. :o) Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to give an honest opinion.

Local pub: This place is a gem and slightly off the beaten path. I love the concept of an old heritage house transformed into a pub. The staff are fantastic and the crowd is friendly. The kinda place where everyone knows your name. :o)

Coed soccer tournament: I recently particpated in a tournament at East York Collegiate hosted by TRSL and it was a blast and very well organized. I was MOST impressed by the skill level........good times. ;o)
