I used to go to school nearby and eat at this place along with a couple of other restos. Had it not been for the fact that I love the crepe desserts that Demetre chains offer, I would feel very lukewarm about coming here more than once since the service tends to be hit or miss if they're busy.

This place has great modern decor, an extensive, witty menu that punsters would die for (try the 'Split Personality' banana split!), and the most indulgent desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. Sundaes, smoothies, crepes and specialty coffees -- this only begins to describe the various choices this place has to offer! 'Indulgent' really is the key word here.

As they say at caffé demetre, "when the child in you wants to play, caffé demetre is the perfect ice cream dessert store for adults" ... they couldn't be more right about that. caffé demetre offers such a wide selection of homemade ice cream, waffles, cakes, pies etc. my favourite is their iced espresso with ice cream, mocha sauce, and whipped cream on top. it's deadly.

With their funky decor, Caffe Demetre offers many scrumptious desserts. Try their crepes or belgian waffles. My favourite's the Forbidden Fruits. Be careful of the "Gorge-Us Sundae." It's deadly.
