I can never get over how reasonable the prices are here, compared to almost every other natural food store I've ever patronized. I hear the staff from Noah's shops there, because the regular prices at Essence beat their staff discount at Noah's. Great for all dried goods and pantry items, spices and snacks, frozen and dairy-case type items, natural body care, supplements, and more. Lots of selection. Not the best for fresh veg, but then, there's plenty of places nearby for that.

Great organics selection. Love the tea, soap, and soy milk selections. One of the biggest I've seen in the city. Cramped, cool atmosphere.

In the heart of Kensington Market, this store seems to stock pretty much any type of organic food you are looking for (except for limited fruits & veggies) as well as a good range of cleaning products, health & beauty products, vitamins and other things you generally can find in a grocery store.
