Not too many all you can eat Japanese in downtown Toronto that I know of. I found this food to be really tasty. Has a few items that are not on a lot of all you can eat menus such as beef sashimi and whole soft shell crab. There are 3 tiers of pricing I - Just maki for $12-$14 II - Full menu except for Sushi and Nigiri (but can have maki and hand rolls) - $16-$18 III - Full menu $20 Friday nights between 6-9 seems to be really packed. Maybe recommend going early or going later after the rush.

The rolls are nice and fresh and the prices are great.

The atmosphere is like being in a Japanese cavern..lovely atmosphere, great service and fresh, plentiful sushi every time in a fabulous part of town! Sitting in the window feels like being a goldfish and enjoying the view of the world in a protective bowl.

I dont know about sitting in there, but its always got line ups. They make sushi quick and I take it home with a 20% discount (but you have to remember to ask for it). I hear the all you can eat is a really good deal. You know what i'm gonna eat it tonight!

So good and so cheap. Gimme 2 days and a couple of ginger ales and I swear I could bankrupt this place. No catches, so much sushi.

they offer different levels of all you can eat at different prices. Great for vegetarians that have no interest in the sashimi.

The WORST service of any sushi place in the city. I live nearby and go to the island a lot - 95% of the time they forget a part of our order AND they never ever ask you if you want anything else like a normal restaurant - EVEN WHEN WE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE PLACE. Rolls are ok, but this place is garbage.

Tried to order 30 pieces of sashimi but wasn't allowed! What a ridiculous restaurant!I am posting this because i)it ruined my friend's birthday ii)I take my dinner time seriously and it is interrupted by very rude waitress/manager and iii)I have never been anywhere else that treats their customers so rude! Some friends recommended this place so we went to try it out for a birthday celebration.Huge dissapointment! There were a few prices for AYCE so we chose the most expensive one at $20.99 ($22.99 because we were there on a weekend) because we wanted sashimi. The manager was shockingly rude! One of the first sentences she said to welcome us was "You are given 1 1/2 hours to order & eat & then you have to leave because it is packed today". We understood there is usually a time limit to AYCE but saying it in such a rude way before you even sit down is just plain rude! Then, we tried to order 30 pieces of salmon sashimi for 8 and the manager said, "I think 30 pieces is too much. Why don't you try take 15 instead?" So we decided to be nice and was okay with the salmon and we proceed to order 20 pieces of red snapper on top of the salmon and she said, "Why don't you order other types of sashimi and less of this because you have to take other customers and tables into consideration". At this point, we were like "What?!". First, we have to be told in a rude way that we have to finish 1 1/2 hours on the dot. Second, she cuts down the portion on whatever we want to order and third, we have to take other customers/tables into consideration on what we want to eat?Geez how ridiculous!Needless to say, at this point we decided that we had enough and walked out of the restaurant. I have never been to a restaurant that is so rude and arrogant in my life. When we told her we had enough and we were leaving she said "FINE!" like it doesn't really matter anyways. Think twice before you go to this place! Even if the food is good, with such service you don't really have any appetite left to eat at the end!
